My name is Zoltan Szatmari, and I am the one who writes edits and manages this website (along with a few friends).
My Story
I was a test and industrial engineer in Hungary and Netherlands for seven years.
In 2017 I moved to New Jersey. Everything was new and so expensive. After spending weeks searching how to get an affordable apartment and fixing the common problems in the US, I got frustrated. Most of the answers out on the internet were terrible. They were too vague, too short, not relevant anymore, and always wanted to sell something.
In 2019 I started Apartment ABC. The goal is to produce easy-to-read, helpful content that walk-through apartment-related topics and problems.
Our Methods
I find our topics to write about from personal experience to using data analytics, forums, and common sense.
When I found a problem people struggle with, we created a draft from our personal experience, read most of relevant web page, forum, and watched YouTube videos.
Our goal is whatever we write to be as helpful as we can.
How do we earn from the site?
We support ourselves through display advertisements and sometimes affiliate commissions.
Putting adverts on Apartment ABC was a big decision for me, and I wouldn’t say I like it too much. However, they help support us and allow me to cover more topics and help more people.
